Reflecting on Standard 7 and professional learning prompts me to consider my own professional growth. I have seen immense professional growth in myself since the beginning of this program. It reminds me that teaching is a dynamic profession, and my commitment to improvement and ethical conduct should be unwavering. One aspect of Standard 7 that stands out is the expectation, not the hope, that teachers engage in ongoing professional development. This commitment to lifelong learning is crucial in a rapidly changing world, where new teaching strategies, curriculum updates, and technological advancements constantly reshape the educational landscape. As a teacher, I feel encouraged to attend workshops, conferences, and courses to stay updated and grow as an educator.
